DMBC introducing approved list for Contractors
3rd January 2011
Doncaster Council is compiling an Approved List of Contractors for works up to £3,927,260 and Consultants for works up to £156,442 which will be implemented from January 2011.
Constructionline, the Government’s national online database for pre-qualified contractors and consultants will be used to help the Council pre-qualify suppliers for its Approved List.
Should you wish to apply to be on the Council’s Approved List, please register with Constructionline who will help you collate all the necessary pre-qualification information and undertake the assessment process on behalf of the Council.
You will need to provide Constructionline with information about your company which will be assessed to ensure you meet the Council’s requirements in relation to:
Company Details
Company Integrity
Financial Standing
Health and Safety
Equal Opportunities
Environmental Standards
References
Licenses and Certificates
Insurance
Staff Skills and Qualifications
Constructionline will then advise the Council of your category limit i.e. the maximum value of your contract you have been approved to on any one project.
Doncaster Council is looking to improve efficiencies in the procurement process and believes Constructionline will help do this. It will also help businesses to:
Fit to supply – fulfil minimum requirements for us to work with you
Save resources – reduce admin time by completing one application form
Access the Opportunities Notice Board – awareness of all the latest tender opportunities across the UK
Access more buyers – over 8,000 buyers are able to view your details.
Annual registration starts at just £90 allowing you to select as many work categories and locations as you like.
