Targeting all construction businesses

16th November 2009

Construction accounts for the largest spend for Local Authorities within the Yorkshire and the Humber Region. Around £1.2 billion p.a. is spent on construction services, which represents 30% of the Local Authorities' external expenditure.

VEN Management would like to invite you to our free events highlighting how SMEs across the Yorkshire and Humber region can access more procurement opportunities through the recently launched ’Target’ initiative.

Target also helps SMEs to get ready for business by identifying skills gaps and recommending solutions that ensure they have the right credentials to potentially win and fulfil contracts.

The events on the 16th November and 27th November will feature several live projects in the public sector and give information on how SMEs in the region can potentially become involved.

On the 16th November speakers include:

On the 27th November speakers include:

Following the briefing sessions at both events there will be an opportunity for business networking and a chance to identify the support available to take forward the individual needs of attending businesses.
